Originally established by the Chinese government in 1965 as an off-the-road (OTR) tire manufacturer, Aeolus Tyre has grown over the years to become China's largest OTR tire manufacturer and all-steel truck radial tire manufacturer.
Aeolus is the market leader in China's OTR tire market with over 50% of the Chinese OEM OTR tire market now. Aeolus is the original tire supplier for China's largest truck and engineering vehicle companies, including Dongfeng Motor, Beiqi Foton Motor, China Longgong Machinery (Lonking), Liugong Machinery, Xiamen XGMA Machinery, and Xuzhou Construction Machinery (XCMG). Aeolus Tyre was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2003 (a component of SSE 180 Index), generating sales of US$ 800 million annually. The factory occupies a total space of 1.3 million square meters in Jiaozuo with an annual production capacity of 5 million tires. Aeolus Tires are available in over 140 countries.
